PS3 Slim Helps Increase Sales in U.S.

Sony did it! America is now taken by the PS3 Slim having the highest increase in sales this week. It has been reported that due to the launching of Playstation 3 Slim, overall sales in PS3 have been very impressive. VGChartz shows that the sales of PS3 are up 104% compared to last week, with 75,931 units sold, doubling last week’s 37,167 units. Perhaps the $299 price is responsible for this positive response from customers.
As for the Xbox 360, there was a 32% increase in sales from last week, with Microsoft managing to shift 74,689 units. A close competitor in 3rd place is Nintendo Wii which sold 74,245 units this week.
As Christmas season coming fast, it will be very interesting to keep track of this sales race.
