Don’t Be A Victim: Beware of Gold-Diggers

I can recall that a friend of mine once had a beautiful girlfriend who kept on asking precious things from him. My friend, whom I think was just too inlove with the girl kept on giving her everything she wanted. After some time, the girl decided to break up with my friend. Her reason was that she’s not inlove with him anymore.

Then, after months of separation, my friend saw his ex with another man. What really surprised him is that this new guy of hers is very wealthy. Yes, he was a victim of a gold-digger! It was too late for him to realize that the girl whom he thought once loved him was only after of his money.

It was too late for him to detect and realize everything. Damage has been done. And what’s even worse is that he suffered pain and suffered financial loss.

Now, no one wants to be in that situation. I thought to myself, I never wanted to be the loser even if I’ll be the one left behind. I don’t want to be a victim of a gold-digger!

Now, what must be done so that none of us can suffer emotional and financial loss? Well, it is important to be aware and beware.

Gold-digger, is not exclusive to refer to a woman. In some cases, there are men who are also gold-diggers (especially when there is a may-december love affair with a man younger than a woman). Anyway, in this article we will discuss about gold-diggers in the general concept (or gold-diggers who are women).

So, when can you detect that a woman is not truly inlove with you and she’s not a gold-digger.

1. Her favorite subject matter is always “money” or anything about luxurious things.

Remember, if a woman is really interested in you, she will be more inclined to give honest compliments. The subject matter will revolve around things that you like or other things about you. If a woman keeps on asking you about what car you drive or will complement you based on the labels of the stuff that you use, then this might be a signal that you are dating a gold-digger.

2. Find out her personality and find out what she wants in the long-term.

For example, if the woman is interested with money and anything about wealth and wants to be wealthy someday, but you noticed that she’s not actually taking actions in reaching it (perhaps she does not have any job or maintains a low-paying job), then be careful.

3. Be very observant

If a woman will mention fancy and expensive restaurants, then try suggesting restaurants which are less expensive. If you have observed that she is somehow disappointed, this might be a sign that she’s a gold-digger. Especially if she will ask for an expensive jewelry, and gets disappointed that you will not buy it for her (or at least suggest a cheaper one), then she might be after of what you can give her. So, always observe how she reacts.

Remember, if a woman is truly in love with you, although it is expected that she wants to have romantic dinner with you from time to time, but she will never want something that you cannot give her. A woman who is really inlove is ready to accept what you can give as long as you give her your loyalty and love.
