Prepare For The “New World of Warcraft in 2010″
Blizzard fans are so excited for the announcement made by Blizzard last 21st of August. Reason? Well, a new World of Warcraft is due for release next year and it is called World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. Blizzard Entertainment is the game maker of this new game which will surely make its fans crazier and more addicted to the game.
I can recall how my friends go crazy playing with this game (I am referring to the older versions of Warcraft). The game ‘World of Warcraft’ was actually first launched in the year 2004. Millions and millions of kids, teens and even adults are becoming a part of the game addicts. No wonder why Blizzard Entertainment is even more encouraged to create and innovate the game for the satisfaction of the players.
There were millions of subscribers of the first Warcraft. In fact, it has been reported that it earned more than 11 million dollars. Another release of the game called ”World of Warcraft: The Wrath of the Lich King” also earned millions in just 24 hours of release. I can just imagine the countless number of people hurrying to have a copy. Of all the PC games, ”World of Warcraft: The Wrath of the Lich King” is considered as the “Best Single-day seller”. However, the release in 2007 called ”The Burning Crusade” only made 2.4 million copies in 24 hours compared to The Wrath of the Lich King’s 2.8 million copies. Well, that number is still not bad.
Now, what do the players (or the fans) can expect from Cataclysm? Aside from the new characters introduced here (like the werewolf race), the player is now given an option to raise the level of his character to 85.
Surely, the competing game creators will continuously search for new improvements on their part just to ‘be in the game’ of business.
