Firstly, there was this amazing opening number as a tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson wherein Madonna gave a heart-warming message as she commemorates what MJ had gone through. Afterwhich, Janet Jackson performed with Michael Jackson’s signature moves.

Another traumatic and dramatic scene was that of Kanye West and Taylor Swift. Well, Taylor Swift won the “Best Female Award” and Kanye West just could not take it. Kanye was just very disappointed that he didn’t win any award. So, when Taylor won the award and he was in total disagreement with what the judges decided, he just couldn’t help himself and go onstage. It was really so embarrassing for Taylor. I mean, she was there about to give her speech and there goes Kanye who took the mic off her hand and said “Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!”. Well, the 19-year old singer was just speechless. Kanye was just so disrespectful to ruin everything.

That scene was one of the most unforgettable one. Anyway, after what had happened Beyonce Knowles got the “Best Video Award”, she was just good enough to save Taylor from such disgrace. As she said her speech, “I remember being 17-years-old and up for my first MTV award with Destiny’s Child. It was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So, I’d like for Taylor to come out and have her moment.” And allowed Taylor to actually have her moment.

That was, indeed, a tramatic and dramatic event. Anyway, speaking of the MTV VMA itself, let me mention some winners. Lady Gaga won the “Best New Artist Award”. So, it means that aside being so unique (and a bit weird) in her fashion, she is truly talented.

I really enjoyed this year’s VMA. I hope next year’s Video Music Awards will be much better.

But just recently, there was a new release saying that Youtube will join the film distribution market. The possible reason to this is that the production companies as well as the film distributors thought that they cannot earn much revenue because of the free streaming filrms online.

The great thing about the “talks” that Youtube and the movie studios is that everyone can have a high-quality access to different content. But according to The Wall Street Journal, Youtube will charge an amount of almost $4 for full length movies. Well, with this, you can enjoy a full-length movies for that amount. But I think all other stuff will be free =)
