Anyway, this should be an irrelevant question. I mean, who will bother asking such question. Michael Jordan is very famous worldwide. He may not be an actor, nor a singer but he had once dominated the world for his amazing basketball tactics. I can even recall when he was in Chicago Bulls, he always do that amazing slum dunk (and he really seemed to stay for long mid air!) plus that exposed tongue, which is actually his signature.

Michael Jordan, is indeed, a basketball prodigy. He excels in this feel and can just beat everyone else. Jordan has always been an asset for Chicago Bulls and, admittedly, he always contributed to its victory. When he retired, though, he decided to join the baseball team. Honestly, he plays basketball much better than baseball. I think this is one of the reasons why he returned to basketball scene. However, upon his return, he played for the team called Wizzards.

Because of Michael Jordan’s success and contribution in basketball, no wonder he was included in Basketball’s Hall of Fame. Of course, since he received a recognition, he was given a chance to deliver a speech.

Some say that his speech was just simple others say that it only shows how cold-hearted he is. But in my own opinion, he’s speech was truly remarkable. It may be simple and it may be straightforward and a bit bitter, but I know he spoke honestly. I think, the world needs honesty. And this time, Michael Jordan just spoke what was in his heart.

View his speech: HERE
She is pregnant. This beautiful model will soon to become a Mom! Well, of course, the father of the child is her loving husband Tom Brady, the NFL New England Patriot’s quarterback.

The couple who got married on February 26, 2009 will become parents this December. Brady, who is so excited to become a father even joked to his friends that he’ll be leaving Sunday open just to attend to the needs of his pregnant wife.

If Brady, the future dad, is very excited Bundchen is more than excited than he is. This is Bundcheon’s first child, so undeniably, she is very excited.

This is Brady’s second child since he has a son who lives with his ex-girlfriend. This time, Brady is very ready to become a dad. He is now more determined to be a dad and more matured to take responsibilities. He even guaranteed Bundchen that we will always be there to support her and their child.

Teen Girl Draws Gun on School Bus
It was reported recently that a high school football player saved a school bus full of elementary and high school students from a gun-wielding girl.

The surveillance camera of the Yazoo County school bus captured 18-year-old Kaleb Eulls struggling with the 14-year-old girl while other students evacuated the bus. Eulls who is 6-foot-4-inch, 255 pound senior managed to take the .380-caliber semi-automatic handgun from the 14-year-old girl.

According to reports, Eulls was asleep with headphones in his ears when the girl stood with a gun in her hand. One of Kaleb’s sister woke him up and told him. The girl started pacing the aisle, shouting, pointing the gun and threatening to shoot those she accused of teasing her. The driver tried to talk her down but she returned to the middle of the bus and went on shouting. That’s when Eulls decided to do something.

According to him, he tried to get the girl to focus only on him and in a split second, when he sensed an opportunity, he just went to her. He wrestled the girl to the floor and took the gun from her. He said that after he got the gun loose, he told the bus driver that he got it. Then he ran out the back of the bus and disarmed the gun. In the footage, the girl can be seen running after him. That was really an impressive move for Eulls. He was able to take the gun without hurting the girl.

The girl was arrested and was taken into custody as a juvenile. She faces some really serious charges, maybe too serious for her age. Kaleb’s mom said she was a little shocked but told her son that she was proud of him. She however, asked him never to scare her like that again. After the incident, everyone else, including Eulls, went on to school where he received a hero’s welcome. But not everyone thinks that he deserves this.

To check the other side of the story, report has it that relatives of the girl said that it was the constant bullying that led to this incident and that the news coverage has been unfair. Her family said that she was bullied by children specifically by Kaleb Eulls and his younger sisters. However, the girl’s family apologized for the incident, through their Lawyer Attorney John Reeves.

And of course, the Eulls family has to make an answer to this report. Kaleb’s mom said that she totally don’t believe this. She said she raised all her five kids right – not to make fun of other people or pick on anyone.

She said, they said.. One thing is for sure though, a story has at least two sides.

It’s confirmed. The Commisioner of NFL, Roger Goodell, announced last thursday, that Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is now qualified to return for week 3 of the 2009 season.

Michael Vick was known for frequently running the ball and ranks the third among quarterbacks. He was enlisted first overall by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2001 NFL Draft. In his six seasons with the team, he gained popularity doing a great job in the field as he led the Falcons to the playoffs twice. Vick has not played since 2006.

On July 27, 2009, Goodell conditionally reinstated Vick. Goodell then met with Vick, Eagle’s coach Andy Reid and Vick’s advisor Tony Dungy, and announced on September 3 that Vick is fully reinstated. Vick shouldn’t be drafted in most leagues. For now, he will likely be the no.3 quarterback and will appear in the game for some wildcat formations.

To get his worth back, Vick will have to wait for an injury to no.1 and no.2. As for the Eagles, looks like this team has an interesting quarterback line-up for this season.

Social Networking sites have been popular nowadays. And through this, people can do whatever they want to do. Like promoting sites, videos or sharing any sorts of stuff that they want. Twitter is one of the sites which allows people to share their thoughts, or points of view of whatever. And Because of that the National Football League, which is one of the powerful sports league thinks that all the silly tweeting could seriously damage its business.

Since NFL is preparing for its upcoming season they instituted some set of guidelines or some sort of rules to restrict fans in using some social media applications like Facebook and Twitter. Under the guideliness, NFL encouraged fans to post messages about teams and player but cannot post play by play accounts of the actual games.

NFL admitted that their aim to those fans who will be attending games in person from posting games videos onto sites which is capable of hosting videos such as Youtube, Facebook or MySpace. And If fans will be posting large quatities of videos onto those sites It will surely affect their business since NFL is selling exclusive rights to television networks and radio stations to broadcast the games.
It has been said that If NFL found out or identifies fans that will violate the said rules, league officials will contact them and tell them to stop posting text or video and If they refuse to do so, the league will consider filing a lawsuit.
They will be doing such action since this cause much worries on their business for the fact that those social sites gives a huge impact on their business because people are free to post whatever they wanted to share.
But one thing’s for sure, NFL should be also aware that they got no property right over fans ‘tweets’ . Fans have the same right guaranteed by the First Amendment that they are allowed to publish accounts of football games even in play by play form.

Memphis confirmed that Grizzlies did make Allen Iverson an offer. Grizzlies General Manager, Chris Wallace told ESPN.com that the heated negotiations between the sides have reached the point where Grizzlies have made a formal offer.

Iverson is believed to be one of the most high profile, unrestricted free agents that is still in the market. He is a 10-time All-Star whom Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley sees as a strong gate attraction. He played in only 57 games between Denver and Detroit last season because of his injury and averaged a 17.5 points per game.

There were reports before that he was leaning towards reuniting his coach, Larry Brown, with the Charlotte Bobcats. But the Bobcats are for sale and is under severe financial difficulties. So most likely, Iverson is not going this way.

A stronger suitor that is luring Iverson is Miami Heat. However, their offer may not be sweet enough to get Iverson’s heart. Miami Heat is already more than $3 million into luxury tax territory and has not been willing thus far to make Iverson a substantial financial offer. So who could possibly win Iverson’s services?

Memphis on the other hand, is said to easilty outbid Charlotte and Miami. Memphis is approximately $3.5 million under the salary cap for the 2009-10 season. Wallace would not say how much is the offer or when Iverson would possibly start, that is if he takes the offer.

Wallace said that they will probably add another guard at some point but there’s no rush. One thing is for sure though, there’s going to be just another interesting season for basketball.

Olympics, I never thought there would be controversies about the contestants’ gender that is as big as this. Who would think that the committee can miss it? What if you found out that your competitor is not really a girl or a boy and what would you do if it’s true? Have you thought about it? Here are the proof that even in the Olympics, there are anomalies so shocking about one’s gender or more likely a scandal in way way way back. Let’s take a peek.

Dora Ratjen

First stop is Dora Ratjen, she joined 1936 Olympic games in Berlin. She’s remarkable because of her deep voice and she refuse to share the shower with her fellow female athletes. Dorothy Tyler her competitor, saying “I had competed against Dora and i knew she was a man. You could tell by the voice and the build.” Her true gender was revealed when doctor was summoned to test her. In 1938 Ratjen was barred from further competition.

Our second shocker is Stella Walsh. She was a Polish-American sprinter, she was the fastest woman in the world. She won medals one was gold in 1932 Olympics and silver in1936 for the 100m sprint. She set more than 100 national and world records and was inducted into Track and Field Hall of Fame. She entirely live her whole life as a woman and also have a short-lived marriage to an American man. In 1980 Walsh was killed by armed robbery at a shopping mall in Cleveland, Ohio. Walsh was identified as man after the postmortem revealed that she has male genitalia and was also found that she have both male and female chromosomes.

The third shocker is Sin Kim Dan, she broke the women’s records for 400m and 800m in 1961 and 62. Dan was the first to run 400m in less than 52 seconds. In 1963, a man claimed that she was his son who disappeared during the war. In 1966, obligatory sex testing for international athletics was introduced and for whatever reason Dan did not compete after that.

Our fourth is Edinanci Silva, born with both male and female sex organs, shocking wasn’t it? The Brazilian judo player had surgery in the mid 90’s and choose to be a woman. It made her eligible to participate in the games. She competed in Atlanta 1996, in Sydney 2000 and in Athens in 2004. In Sydney, she beat the Aussie Natalie Jenkins who raised of Silva’s gender in a press conference and referring to her as “him”.

Fifth is the Press sisters Tamara and Irina who won five track and field Olympic gold medals for the Soviet Union. Their careers suddenly ended at the time when the gender verification was introduced. Critics believed that the Press were actually male, or perhaps hermaphrodites.

Sixth shocker is Heidi Krieger, she was a 16 year old when her coach put her on steroids and contraceptive pills. She gained weight, built muscle and started to develop body hair. By 1986, aged 20, she was European champion and an Olympic shotput gold medalist. In the mid-90s, Krieger underwent gender reassignment surgery and changed her name to Andreas.

The seventh is Eda Klobukowka, was the first Olympic athlete to fail a gender test. Having registered “one chromosome too many”, she failed an early form of the chromatin test in 1967 and was subsequently banned from competing in professional sports. Before she fail the tests she won the gold medal in the women’s 4×100 m relay and the bronze medal in the women’s 100 m sprint at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Santhi Soundarajan is our eighth shocker she’s a middle distance runner form India, won a medal at the 2006 Asia Games. Her medal was stripped when she failed a verification test.

Mary Edith Louise Weston is the ninth shocker. Best shotputter from 1924 to 1930 and the best javelin thrower in1927. She still holds Great Britain’s shot put record. Mary became Mark Weston in the mid 1930’s.

Our tenth and last shocker is Iolanda Balas, during the 1960’s mandatory gender testing was implemented Balas refused to compete in the Olympic Games. She went to the Budapest games – but only as a spectator, wearing an Ace bandage. According to Rumanian track officials, she was suspiciously suffering from a “calcified right tendon,” and was said to never be able to compete again.

I was watching a Ustream video showing Ochocinco. Firstly, for those who don’t know him, let me tell a little something about him. He was born Chad Javon Johnson. He is a member of the Bengals team of NFL as a wide receiver. To actually reflect his uniform number 85, he changed his surname to Ochocinco (it is the spanish translation for 8 > Ocho and 5>Cinco). The Ochocinco Show

You can also see him in twitter and get updates about him. He has a great sense of humor and mostly makes fun of himself and gives funny yet sensible quotes. Well, since twitter only allows you to enter around 140 characters, Ochocinco realized that it wouldn’t be enough for him to express himself so he set up his own Ustream show. I think it is simple but truly a great idea. You see, of all the NFL players, is the one who created his own show, expressed himself and reached out to his fans.

Actually, when he has a spare time, like not having meetings or game practices, he just sit down and do “The Ocho Cinco Show”. What is so amazing about this is that it gets thousands of viewers together, and view him and chat with him at one time. Well, the topics that he always discuss is just “everything” under the sun. He even makes others laugh by making fun of himself!

Well, the last video that I’ve seen was great. Aside from the fact that there are sometimes a moment of silence as he was reading all those chat messages or answering the phone, he once again had his “quotable” quotes.

He gave a good advice to everyone by saying “Walk in our office with your head high whatever your job is”. Ochocinco just felt that he want everyone to be with him just to discuss all things. And he started talking about what his experiences are. I can remember he said “I have the opportunity to work with Larry Jones and travel to Kenya off the season when i get a chance off maybe a week or two, I travel.” He is really cool. Being such a great player and he’s got a chance to have some fun.

One important thing that he said was “TV does no justice. what you see on tv, you actually have to be there and see it for yourself. They can’t show as much.” It’s true. We might see some stuff on tv, others are half-true while some are not true.” I think this is among the reasons why he wants to be his own media to open up to everyone the things that he’s gone through.

I have quoted one funny advice yet a sensible one. He said “Do me a favor. Tomorrow is do a big Wednesday. When you go to work tomorrow, I mean, I do it myself, I do it myself to save myself out… I take a some toilet tissue in my hand, take a full roll of tissue, take it in a car with you and put on your desk. That’s a reminder ‘No matter what you’re going through..No matter who will be there for you, whether it’s your boss, it’ll always remind you that you are always there to s**t’. Try it, try it…It’s a relaxing…those relaxing bowls and they have the once you squeeze together…I don’t know what you call it…Same thing with toilet tissue…You might have to listen to me more than once but you’re gonna get the point”

That’s true. What he said is true. His tip is simply relaxing and will remind us that we are all equal.

One part of the show was that he read messages and he gave his comments. He read a message about Chris Brown beings sentenced for 5 years probation. He just can’t believe it and things it might be difficult for both Chris and Rihannah. He quoted “They might be together right now!”

About the news regarding Michael Jackson, he was also surprised to hear that it is now considered a “Murder case”. He said “Where’d ya get all these information? Am I livin inside the rock?”. Well, I think he said this because he’s not updated with all the news. When chatters said that such news was from CNN, he started acting as a CNN reporter and putting on his “CNN jacket”.

This guy has a great sense of humor. Can you imagine? In one of his videos, he makes fun of himself. In the video, he turned off the all the lights in his house. He took of his shirt and was just laughing. He said he is the “Ustream Ghost”. Well, it’s not that he is a racist but he is just making fun of himself. Just imagine, all that I can see was his pearly white teeth. He was even covering it at first and telling everyone that only his pearly white teeth will be shown. He said as he laughed “Have a floating teeth…this is so funny. You can’t even see my eyes but can see my mouth. Esteban the Ghost!” He is proud to make the first Ustream-in-the-dark with his teeth that can only be seen. He is proud to say as he finished the video “I got a beautiful smile”. Well, I agree with that. Such a nice smile and pearly white teeth.

Despite his sense of humor, he is so serious when it comes to his games. When it the football field, he always makes that “awesome” kick. In one of his games, (I’ve seen it in youtube) He kicked an extra point and the sports commentator was just so amazed who said, “High snap and drills it. He was kicking in a one day practice and was kicking unbelievably”

Ochocinco is thinking once again to change his name to Esteban Ochocinco. I think, whatever his name is, he will always be the same person–makes others laugh and makes the team win.
