What are you looking for in a mobile phone? Well, all of us want something that is very useful in our daily living. If you are a businessman, you might want something that has a long battery life, can be used in sending and receiving email and text messages and at the same time good for making calls. Or you might want something which, aside from the aforementioned features, will allow you to play games, watch TV or play games.

For years now, mobile phone manufacturers have always based their products on what the people need or will introduce something new which they think will attract many people.

Motorolla, one of the manufacturers, have created various designs of phones. And now, the company will introduce a new one–MC9500. Now, you might want to consider if it is for you.

The hardware of MC9500 includes 3.7-inch VGA touchscreen. With this, you can use a stylus to write something instead of using the keypads (for example your signature). MC9500 also has cellular radio which is 3.5G and 806MHz Marvel processor. Among other things, it has GPS, a camera with 3.2 MP, Wi-Fi (which will now allow you to access your emails), stereo Bluetooth and the feature called accelerometer.

It has superior performance and it is very flexible since you can choose the carrier technology you need. Lots of field research were made during its development so we can really tell its difference from other Motorola models.
It has good battery management that allows user to see and manage the battery life. It has interactive sensing feature.

There are also alphanumeric (A-Z, 0-9) keys so it is easier for you to type in your message. It has also the so called rugged specifications. If you are working, for example in a warehouse, then you don’t have to worry dropping it. And if you are working in a place near a body of water (or a swimming pool), then you don’t have to worry that it will sink since it is water-proof.

So, if you are thinking of getting a new phone, you might want to consider MC9500. Know its features, discover what it can do for you.

Panasonic is developing this new technology that will set a new trend of a phone and game console in one.

What is so great about this is that it is has the looks of a game console with buttons for playing. But at the same time, it has a touchscreen that allows you to do things like sending and reading text messages and emails and making calls.

So, if you want a phone which allows you to play games and has an exact replica of a game console, then Panasonic Karma is something that you should wait for. It is not just a Phone but a game console in one.

Actually, I can’t even remember the exact number. But as much as I know, Apple always have something new to offer to its customers. For this year, the loyal Apple buyers and even the prospect customers can expect another new product from Apple. This is the Apple Tablet with 9.6-inch Touchscreen.

Recently, Taiwan Economic News revealed that another Apple Tablet will soon be released in the market. Yes, it is true! This 9.6-inch touchscreen HSPDA is something that can change our lifestyle.

This new gadget is much better than the older releases. Why? Well, the previous versions were said to be difficult to use due to its touchscreen. But with Apple Tablet with 9.6-inch Touchscreen, the touchscreen is “friendlier” and easier to use. And for people with busy life and hectic schedule, this gadget will satisfy their needs. It has a long lasting battery life. So, making calls or sending text messages can be done throughout the day.

Also, we can expect that it has more applications and even more beneficial. However, if you intend to buy one, then be prepared to pay around $1,000. This gadget is expected to be released by the end of this year or early next year.

A lot of countries are having problems about renewable energy source. The young Nepalese, Milan Karki knows that, an eighteen-year-old teenager in the rural village in Nepal. So he came up with a solution that can solve an energy crisis. Milan Karki invented this Solar Panel that uses Conductor on human Hair’s. Instead of thinking of the cost of electricity, he decided to make a Low-cost Solar Panel with Human Hair conductors.

Imagine what our hair can do. For years, many people are just thinking that hair is just a way to express ourselves and it is like our ‘crowing glory’. Reason? Well, most people think that its only purpose is to beautify and enhance a person’s beauty.

Solar energy is something we all know. But Solar Panels can be expensive to be produced with the use of silicon. And Karki’s discovery solve that problem, by applying human Hair. However, it turn out that Melanin, a pigment color of hair is a good conductor. And not to mention it is a lot cheaper than silicon. For example, half-kilo of hair are bought for only 16p in Nepal and it wil just last for a few months, rather than a battery that we can bought 50p and last only in few nights. Truly a magneficient work!

This is one of those things that you’re mom don’t want you to play with. Water- filled Ping Pong balls – match it with Pneumatic Cannon, now that really is scary.

At some point, it is cool. The idea of shooting a plywood with a ping pong ball and actually putting a whole on it is quite awesome. But I think that it’s not the pneumatic cannon that is being impressive. But the effect of water-filled ping pong balls. Try freezing it ang firing it using this cannon, it will be just like using rock as a bullet. It would really really hurt or much worse. Seems like ping pong balls is not that safe anymore.

In watching this video, I say, parental guidance is recommended.

The 365-meter high Berliner Fernsehturm tower was built by the communist government of the German Democratic Republic. I’m not sure if this has a connection to the concept of the video or maybe Tischer just decided to launch it into space because it looks abit like a rocket. It’s really a cool video and maybe a bit funny too.

Solar Surge

Novothink is a manufacturer of alternative electronic devices and this thinking manufacturer has just released their Solar Surge for the iPod and iPhone Touch. To those who are never behind the latest iPod and Iphone Touch, about a month from now you will be able to charge your Apple gadgets with a fancy new solar case. It is handy and easy to use. Your igadget slides easily into the hard case Solar Charger and Voila! It can get charged up from the sun! It’s brilliant! You’ll never have to worry about dead batteries. Just make sure your igadget is fully juiced up before sundown.

On the back of the case is an integrated solar panel which allows you to charge your iPhone or iPod solely from sunpower. No need for any other energy source. However, in case there is no sunlight in your area, there is an additional USB cable that can help you. Four LED indicators let you know if you have sufficient light source for solar charging and approximately how much charge level remains in your case. If your device is not in the case, the Solar Surge stores power in an internal battery. If all 4 indicators are green, it means the surge is fully charged. Talk about plan B. So you really have no excuse of having dead batteries.

These chargers are the first to be licensed by Apple. But sorry to those who are using the older gadgets, these hip solar charger only works with the newer devices. The older ones are not compatible. Oops, this means before you save money to buy these chargers, you first have to save money to buy the latest igadgets. Anyway, Novothink’s Solar Surge will be available for the iPod Touch 2G later this month and will sell for $70. That seems reasonable, right? The iPhone 3G and 3GS model will be available fall 2009.

A new research is made to develop a so-called Natural User Interface. This is a new way to work with computers without using our keyboards.

I am very amazed by the new technology invented by intelligent individuals. These really make our lives easier and convinient. I was actually searching the net and I found out about the so-called Natural User Interfaces. News said that this will set us free from using keybord or what they called “keyboard-based interaction”. It means that we don’t have have a hardtime finding the keys in our keyboard. NUI is said to make our computer usage a lot easier.

Let us consider some of the NUI already in the market. For example the Nintendo’s Wii, all we have to do is to touch and do some hand gesture with it and we can get to enjoy playing with it. iPhones and some of the computer already features touchscreen. For example, with iPhone we can just touch the screen to navigate from one screen to another.

What’s even more amazing innovation done now is the introduction of “Speech Recognition” feature for some gadgets. For example, the so-called Microsoft Surface has the ability to know and recognize the objects in this real world. Project Natal can also recognize whole body movement. Really amazing! It means that these computer features can actually do a command by translating the movements.

For people who are already paralyzed and can only move their eyes, tongue and jaw can now be used to control a computer. This is called Tongue-based interaction. The user will put inside his mouth an infrared optical sensors embedded in a retainer. Everytime his tongue move, that will be used to control a computer.

There are so many innovations made now. And truly, technology makes our lives a lot easier and more comfortable.
