A lot of countries are having problems about renewable energy source. The young Nepalese, Milan Karki knows that, an eighteen-year-old teenager in the rural village in Nepal. So he came up with a solution that can solve an energy crisis. Milan Karki invented this Solar Panel that uses Conductor on human Hair’s. Instead of thinking of the cost of electricity, he decided to make a Low-cost Solar Panel with Human Hair conductors.

Imagine what our hair can do. For years, many people are just thinking that hair is just a way to express ourselves and it is like our ‘crowing glory’. Reason? Well, most people think that its only purpose is to beautify and enhance a person’s beauty.

Solar energy is something we all know. But Solar Panels can be expensive to be produced with the use of silicon. And Karki’s discovery solve that problem, by applying human Hair. However, it turn out that Melanin, a pigment color of hair is a good conductor. And not to mention it is a lot cheaper than silicon. For example, half-kilo of hair are bought for only 16p in Nepal and it wil just last for a few months, rather than a battery that we can bought 50p and last only in few nights. Truly a magneficient work!
